WINTER STORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL DOUGLAS COUNTY

February 4, 2025 1:40 p.m. 

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 4:00 a.m. Wednesday to 4:00 a.m. Thursday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said heavy snow is expected. Snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches are expected with up to 10 inches of snow in higher terrain.

The Warning area applies to central and southern Douglas County west of Interstate 5.

Forecasters said travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.
