Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of harassment after an alleged cuddling incident early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:25 a.m. officers contacted the 47-year-old after he was called in for cuddling with a female who did not give him permission to do so. This incident reportedly took place at the Roseburg Warming Center in the 800 block of West Stanton Street. The suspect admitted to cuddling without permission but claimed the woman said she was cold in her sleep.

He was detained without incident. Bail was set at $2,500.
