The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning through 10:00 p.m. Monday for central Douglas County and its eastern foothills.

Additional snow with accumulations of up to 3 inches are forecast.

The Warning area includes Tiller, Azalea, Toketee Falls and portions of Interstate 5 and Highway 227.

Forecasters said roads and especially bridges and overpasses will likely become slick and hazardous. Drivers should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening commute.
