Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported trespass incident on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. officers contacted the 20-year-old in the front yard of an apartment complex in the 400 block of Northeast Sterling Drive. The man was allegedly highly intoxicated and was found to have been searching through a resident’s belongings. He was taken into custody without incident.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250. He was also cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol. The man was released later in the day.
