Roseburg Police jailed a man for three counts of second-degree theft on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 6:30 p.m. the 23-year-old was detained by the manager of Grocery Outlet in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The suspect had allegedly tried to steal just over $160 worth of food. The man was also identified as the suspect who committed two recent thefts at the store in which he allegedly stole $505 and $300 worth of food items, respectively.

The man was detained without incident. Bail was set at $18,750.
