Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft from a store on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 6:00 p.m. officers responded after an employee said the suspect had taken propane and a knife from Sportsman’s Warehouse in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers located the 45-year-old nearby and took him into custody.

The man was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
