STATE POLICE JAIL ROSEBURG MAN FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP

Troopers with the Oregon State Police jailed a Roseburg man following a traffic stop on Saturday night.

An OSP report said at approximately 10:45 p.m. a trooper stopped the vehicle near the intersection of Southeast Lane Avenue and Southeast Pine Street in downtown Roseburg. The 62-year-old driver was detained for providing a false identity. The man was later identified and had several warrants out for his arrest.

During the investigation, troopers allegedly located approximately 3.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The man was jailed for the warrants. Bail was set at $10,000. He was cited for unlawful possession of meth and giving false information
