COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 10:00 A.M. MONDAY

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect through 10:00 a.m. Monday for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said very cold temperatures as low as 14 degrees are expected.

The Advisory area includes central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. It applies to Roseburg, Grants Pass, Medford, Cave Junction and surrounding areas.

Forecasters said that frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Residents should keep pets indoors as much as possible.
