Roseburg Police jailed a man on a felony count of strangulation early Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. 35-year-old Casey Huntley was allegedly found to have threatened and strangled a victim in front of a juvenile child. Huntley also allegedly prevented the victim from calling 911 and also reportedly threatened the juvenile.

Huntley was also charged with two counts of menacing and interfering with making a police report. He was detained without bail.
