Roseburg Police jailed a man for a felony charge of driving while suspended on Thursday.
An RPD report said just after 7:00 a.m. officers contacted the 65-year-old during a traffic stop in the 900 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue and learned he was suspended at the felony level. The man was taken into custody without issue. His probation officer wanted his detained for driving.
He was charged with driving while suspended and a probation violation and was detained without bail. The man was cited for driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file. His vehicle was left legally parked at the scene.
