Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported DUII incident on Sunday night.

An RPD report said just after 11:10 p.m. an officer observed the driver of a sedan commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop near the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Stewart Parkway.

While at the passenger window, the officer said there was an overwhelming odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The 48-year-old driver admitted to smoking marijuana before driving and consented to standard field sobriety tests. She reportedly performed poorly on the SFST’s and was transported to corrections.

A search warrant was later granted, and blood was taken from the driver at CHI Mercy Medical Center. She was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and cited for failure to signal a lane change.

The woman was detained without bail and was released on Tuesday.
