In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra will perform its winter concert Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Jacoby Auditorium at Umpqua Community College.

The concert is free and will be held in a family-friendly atmosphere and will include musical selections from Holst, the theme from Halo, and works from Mozart including Symphony No. 25.

UVYO is a string orchestra of violin, viola, cello and bass players. The evening will include over 100 young musicians from around the county who are ages 6 and older.
