Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported criminal trespass incident on Thursday.
An RPD report said just before 3:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The store manager reported that a 41-year-old had returned after being trespassed only an hour earlier by an officer. A witness reported that the suspect had his pants around his ankles in the parking lot.
When officers went to take the man info custody, he allegedly fled on foot. After a short chase, a taser was deployed on the man and he was taken into custody without further incident.
The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, public indecency and third-degree escape. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
