Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:10 a.m. the 28-year-old allegedly punched a victim in the face during an argument in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The suspect’s parole officer wanted him detained for committing a new crime.

He was charged with harassment and probation violation. Bail was set at $2,500.
