Roseburg Police jailed a man for a drug offense charge after a traffic stop on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:40 a.m. officers contacted the 43-year-old and smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The man’s probation officer arrived on the scene and the driver consented to a vehicle search.

Officers allegedly found a crystal-like substance that later tested positive for amphetamines with a net weight of 11.5 grams. The man was charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
