Roseburg Police cited a woman following an alleged DUII incident on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said shortly after 5:00 p.m. officers responded to the 200 block of Sunshine Road after a caller said an SUV was stuck on the side of the hill, on the eastern edge of Sunshine Park. Officers located the vehicle and the driver, who was lost in the woods at the top of the hill. The woman reportedly showed signs of intoxication. She allegedly admitted to drinking alcohol and reportedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

The woman was cited and released. Her SUV was recovered by a tow company.
