Sutherlin Police jailed a woman on a charge of reckless driving early Wednesday morning.

An SPD report said at 2:00 a.m. the 21-year-old was driving southbound on Interstate 5 near the Sutherlin exit at speeds of between 100 and 110 miles per hour with heavy fog and near freezing conditions. The report said that the woman didn’t speak English very well but stated that the vehicle belonged to a relative. It was unclear if the relative knew the woman had the vehicle

She was detained without bail. The vehicle was towed.
