THRIVE UMPQUA LAUNCHES 2025 WELL-BEING CHALLENGE

Thrive Umpqua is getting ready to launch the 2025 Community Well-Being Challenge.

A Thrive Umpqua release said the free initiative is designed to inspire residents of Douglas County to prioritize health, connection, and well-being in the new year.

The challenge will kick off with a community event at the Umpqua Valley Farmers Market on Saturday, January 18th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The market is in the 500 block of Southeast Jackson Street in downtown Roseburg.

The kick-off will feature an array of activities, including:
*Interactive scavenger hunt with an opportunity to win Farmers Market gift certificates and wellness-inspired prizes. Winners will be drawn every 15 minutes
*Food samples and giveaways including seasonal soup samples and take0home fun prizes
*Wellness resources where attendees can learn about Thrive Umpqua’s upcoming programs, wellness tips and events that are planned for this year

Thive Umpqua Executive Director Jess Hand said, “The Community Well-Being Challenge is about creating opportunities for everyone to make small, meaningful changes that lead to a healthier lifestyle”.
