Roseburg Police cited a woman for an alleged hit and run incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at approximately 5:45 p.m. officers responded to the area of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Mulholland Drive after a victim reported that another vehicle had crashed into his and then drove away without stopping.

A 33-year-old man was identified as the driver who left the scene of the accident and was contacted a short distance away. The victim did not wish to pursue charges against the suspect. The man who caused the accident was cited for a violation count of driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file.

The victim’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
