Roseburg Police cited a pair of Myrtle Creek residents on the charge of second-degree child neglect on Friday.
An RPD report said at 1:50 p.m. the 28-year-old woman and 54-year-old man were contacted after they allegedly left their 3 and 4-year-old children in an unlocked vehicle for five minutes. The incident reportedly took place in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway.
Both people were released after being given their citations.
