A California woman was jailed following an alleged DUII accident on Thursday.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 11:45 a.m. a vehicle was involved in a hit and run incident on Interstate 5 northbound, about a mile south of Glendale. The operator allegedly continued on and did not exchange information with the operator of the other vehicle.

A witness described the suspect vehicle as being driven in a careless manner about three miles north of Glendale. A trooper located the vehicle about 15 miles north of Glendale parked on a gravel road near the milepost 95 interchange. During contact with the driver, signs of impairment were reportedly observed. The 27-year-old was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and failure to perform the duties of a driver for property damage.

The woman was detained without bail.
