The Friend’s of Fords Pond are seeking community members to be part of a new activities committee.
A release from the non-profit organization said committee members will plan and facilitate fun and educational free activities for all ages and abilities. While walking and birding groups have been meeting at the park, the organization now wants to broaden its focus and find ways to help others connect and use the park regularly. Possibilities include exercise and art classes and games.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sutherlin Community Center on Willamette Street. Pizza will be provided.
Those interested can send in an application. For more information go to the Fond’s Pond website at: https://fordspond.org/
