Roseburg Police jailed a man on a failure to appear warrant on Monday.

An RPD report said at 12:50 p.m. officers saw the 34-year-old walking on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street and knew there was a warrant for his arrest. It was confirmed by dispatch. Officers attempted to contact the man, but he took off running. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody.

Bail was set at $25,000.
