The City of Roseburg is taking applications for two commissions.

A city release said there is currently a vacancy on the Roseburg Planning Commission and 2 vacancies on the Public Works Commission. The commissions serve in an advisory capacity to the city council.

The Planning Commission vacancy and one Public Works Commission vacancy must be filled by someone living in the city. The other Public Works Commission vacancy can be filled by someone who lives within Roseburg’s urban services boundary, but outside city limits.

The person appointed to fill the Planning Commission vacancy would serve until December 2028. One volunteer appointed to the Public Works Commission will finish a term expiring at the end of 2025, while the other will serve a three-year term that expires at the end of 2027.
