ROSEBURG MAN JAILED FOLLOWING WEEKEND TRAFFIC STOP

A Roseburg man was jailed following a traffic stop on Saturday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:30 p.m. a deputy stopped a pickup for traffic violations near the intersection of Highway 42 and Old Brockway Road in the Winston area. The 48-year-old driver returned as being suspended and had warrants for his arrest. There were 5 firearms in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for the warrants and driving status and was taken into custody.

Bail was set at $16,250.
