A Roseburg area man was jailed after an alleged disturbance on Friday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 8:00 p.m. a witness called dispatch and said her roommate was pushing and shoving a victim from the porch all the way into the living room, at a residence in the 3000 block of Carnes Road in Green. A deputy learned the suspect had a warrant for his arrest and the man was taken into custody when the deputy arrived. He was identified as 43-year-old Cotie Hollamon.
The victim claimed Hollamon pushed her while having his hands on the side of her neck and continued pushing her into the ground. The victim said she was able to breathe the entire time. The victim said she was scared and shaken up as she didn’t know what his intentions were next.
The witness said while the man was on the top of the woman, he was yelling out loud saying, “I’m going to kill you”.
Hollaman was charged with two counts of menacing, harassment, and second-degree counts of intimidation, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was detained without bail.
