Roseburg Police jailed a man for a probation violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 5: 15 p.m. officers responded to the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue after paramedics said the 70-year-old man was yelling at them after asking for their assistance. Officers contacted the man’s probation officer who authorized that he be detained for failure to report.

The man was held without bail.
