ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 12:20 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance between 35-year-old Dennis Croucher and a victim in the 200 block of Southeast Lane Street. After an investigation, officers determined Croucher had allegedly caused approximately $1,200 in damage to the residence and chased the victim with a chair over his head. The man reportedly made multiple threats to the victim before throwing a chair and leaving the location.

Officers located Croucher a short distance away from the residence and took him into custody without incident. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, menacing and a parole violation. Croucher was detained without bail.
