A driver was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle crash on Interstate 5 Saturday night.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 7:25 p.m. a pickup was northbound about mile and a half north of the Yoncalla/Drain exit, when the driver said she was cut-off by an unknown semi-truck. In the process of trying to avoid a collision with the semi, the driver lost control of her vehicle and flipped, coming to an uncontrolled rest on the shoulder.

The pickup driver was transported to Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield for non-life-threatening injuries. A juvenile passenger was not hurt. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
