ROCKSLIDE IMPACTS TRAFFIC ON INTERSTATE FIVE

A rockslide impacted traffic on the freeway on Thursday night.

An Oregon State Police report said at approximately 10:25 p.m. rocks fell from an earth bank along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the McLaine Avenue exit, just south of Roseburg. The rocks rolled into a lane of travel. Five vehicles impacted the rocks. The vehicles did not have visible damage other than flat tires.

Vehicles were registered to people living in Roseburg and Winston, along with three vehicles registered to drivers from Washington State.
