Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a transient for warrants early Thursday.

A DCSO report said at 3:00 a.m. a deputy contacted the 34-year-old at the corner of Southwest Stella Street and Char Street in Green. The deputy knew the suspect had warrants for his arrest. The warrants were confirmed, and the transient was taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,000.
