WIND ADVISORY FOR PARTS OF SOUTHERN OREGON

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for parts of southern Oregon from Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. to Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Forecasters said southwest winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts from 50 to 70 miles are possible in parts of the region.

The Advisory includes central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties, and eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
