Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Tuesday evening.

An RPD report said at 6:00 p.m. officers contacted the 64-year-old near a business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The man allegedly had a half-full open beer container with a straw sticking out of it next to him.

He was released after the citation was issued.
