ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING REPORTED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported harassment incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 a.m. officers responded to the 600 block of Northeast Jackson Street after a caller said there was a physical disturbance at that location.

After an investigation, it was determined that the 49-year-old had punched a victim in the face and then fled from the location. Officers later located the suspect in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. He was taken into custody without incident. The man was charged with harassment. Bail was set at $2,000.
