Troopers with Oregon State Police responded after a semi-truck and trailer struck a parked vehicle next to the freeway on Thursday night.
An OSP report said just after 8:20 p.m. the commercial motor vehicle was northbound on Interstate Five, about one mile north of Winchester, when it left the roadway and rolled onto the shoulder hitting a disabled pickup that was parked. The CMV then hit the guardrail and went over an embankment, rolling over onto the roof. The semi-truck and trailer came to rest on private property next to the freeway.
A manager from the trucking company coordinated with the Oregon Department of Transportation, a tow company and the property owner to remove the vehicle.
