Roseburg Police jailed a man after chasing him near downtown on Wednesday afternoon.
An RPD report said just after 2:15 p.m. officers responded to the 900 block of Southeast Mill Street after callers said a man was jumping into traffic and threatening to kill people. Officers located 29-year-old Cody Dulik who matched the suspect’s description walking nearby. Officers told Dulik that he was under arrest, but he reportedly took off running.
Officers chased the suspect for approximately one-third of a mile. Dulik was taken into custody following a brief alleged fight on the Washington Street Bridge. Dulik was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree escape and for resisting arrest. Bail was set at $15,000,
