ROSEBURG WOMAN JAILED FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

A Roseburg woman was jailed for a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended early Tuesday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:40 a.m. a deputy pulled over a sedan after the driver committed multiple traffic violations near the intersection of Northwest Aviation Drive and General Avenue in Roseburg. The 46-year-old driver said her license was suspended. She allegedly had no form of identification on her. Dispatch confirmed her driving status.

The woman was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $300. A friend of the driver picked up her vehicle.
