Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on the charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Tuesday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said at 1:10 p.m. officers located a pickup in the 500 block of Northeast Rowe Street, which returned as being stolen. Officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted the 40-year-old man who was driving the vehicle. Deputies responded to assist as they were originally the agency investigating the vehicle theft.

The man was detained, and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
