Roseburg Police jailed a man for a criminal count of prohibited camping on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 2:50 p.m. the 37-year-old was contacted inside his tent along the bike path in the area of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Interstate 5. The camp was set up during a prohibited time and in a prohibited area. He had two prior convictions for prohibited camping.

Bail was set at $2,000.
