ONE DRIVER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FOLLOWING TWO-VEHICLE CRASH

One driver was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said shortly before 11:00 a.m. officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Airport Road.

Both drivers claimed to have a green light, and there were no witnesses to the wreck. During the investigation, officers discovered that one driver, a 42-year-old Wilsonville woman, did not have a valid driver’s license and was driving uninsured. The second driver, a 62-year-old Roseburg woman, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.

The first driver was cited and released for driving while suspended and driving uninsured.
