Roseburg Police jailed a woman Friday for an alleged prior theft incident.

An RPD report said just after 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 49-year-old at Stewart Park on Northwest Stewart Parkway and knew probable cause existed from a previous where she allegedly used force to steal a laptop. The woman was taken into custody without issue and the laptop was recovered.

She was charged with second-degree theft and third-degree robbery. The woman was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
