A Roseburg woman was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 9:50 a.m. the 55-year-old was turning onto Colonial Road from Laurel Oaks Drive in the Lookingglass area. She reportedly pulled out in front of a pickup. It crashed into the side of her sedan, totaling it.

The male driver of the pickup got out to check on the woman and offered to call assistance for her. The first driver walked to a nearby residence to ask for a ride to the hospital. When she came back to the scene of the crash, the second driver and the pickup were gone.

A deputy met with the woman at CHI Mercy Medical Center to get her statement. She was cited for driving while suspended-violation. The sedan was towed from the scene.
