A Reedsport man was jailed following a reported criminal mischief incident on Tuesday evening.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 5:30 p.m. troopers responded after callers indicated there had been a shooting on Highway 101, about two miles north of Reedsport. It was reported that the suspect had shot at his ex-wife’s vehicle. Shortly after the incident, the suspect, 45-year-old Antelmo Gallo Camacho, contacted deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and turned himself in. OSP assumed responsibility as the investigating agency.

Camacho was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with three counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts each of recklessly endangering another person and menacing, first-degree criminal mischief and reckless driving. Camacho was detained without bail.
