A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 1:00 p.m. Thursday for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

The Advisory area includes valleys in Douglas, Josephine, Jackson and eastern Curry counties. It applies to Roseburg, Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Medford and surrounding locations.

Motorists should slow down, use their headlights and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and vehicles ahead of them.
