A transient was jailed for a warrant on Monday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at approximately 11:30 p.m. a deputy knew the 29-year-old had a warrant and was staying underneath the South Main Street bridge in Canyonville.

The man was contacted and taken into custody. Bail was set at $6,250.
