ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN ON 11 THEFT CHARGES

Roseburg Police jailed a woman on 11 theft and related charges on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:00 a.m. officers took a report of a theft of a wallet and keys on November 26th from a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The suspect allegedly used a credit card several times at local businesses. Officers were able to identify the suspect as 42-year-old Christine Savoy and contacted her at a residence in the 600 block of Northwest Plateau Drive.

Savoy was charged with two counts of second-degree theft, and three counts each of fraudulent use of a credit card, computer crime and identity theft. She was detained without bail and was released on Friday.
