A Myrtle Creek woman was cited for prohibited camping by Roseburg Police on Friday.

An RPD report said at 10:40 a.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old at her camp in 500 block of Southeast Washington Avenue. The camp was called in for blocking the bike path. The woman said she knew it was illegal to camp in the area. Since the camp was in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance, the woman was cited and released with instructions to clean up her camp.
