Troopers with the Oregon State Police jailed a man Tuesday on hunting charges for an alleged prior incident.

An OSP report said on November 4th at 6:45 p.m. a trooper received a report about a subject shooting from the roadway after dark in the 5000 block of Hogan Road in the Oakland area. The man was contacted by local landowners and identified. On Tuesday, the man was located.

27-year-old Branden Jackson was charged with hunting during prohibited hours, hunting in a prohibited area and shooting across a roadway. Jackson was detained without bail.
