A woman was taken to the hospital following a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Sunday.

A Roseburg Police report said shortly before 1:30 p.m. officers responded to the accident in the parking lot of a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. After an investigation, it was determined that the 66-year-old woman had dropped an item behind a vehicle and bent down to pick it up. A driver could not see the woman and her vehicle backed over the victim’s leg.

The woman hit was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
