A Riddle man was cited following a sedan versus log truck accident on Thursday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:30 p.m. the 80-year-old stopped his vehicle at the intersection of Shoestring Road and Canyonville Road, prior to turning onto Canyonville Riddle. The driver said he didn’t see the unloaded log truck, which was heading towards Canyonville, and pulled out in front of it, causing the crash.

Both drivers were uninjured and both vehicles were self-recovered. The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
